Just have great confidence in yourself. Work on it always. If you do, you won’t enable nonsense, or thoughtless behavior because you value yourself way too much to stop and if you don’t value your own self in this world unfortunately, no one else will either. Many people will attempt to deceive you and use you if you let them. So don’t let them. Stay strong and true to yourself and you will draw quality people into your life who are truly grateful to have you in theirs. I stopped all communication with my blood family about 4 months ago. I don’t have any problem. Previously I had phoned nightly and spent a long weekend every month. I had been doing this for as long as I can remember and I’m 60 years of age. No-one called to see why. No-one called to see if i was ill. I don’t have any option in keeping them in my heart. They don’t want to be any part of me. I love them all but can’t have them in my life. I need to move on and start living. Thankfully I have family that love and adore me, not blood and for the first time in my life I don’t feel alone or lonely. ~ Veronica Coughlin
